Att f\u00e5 insikt i varf\u00f6r vi m\u00e4nniskor g\u00f6r som vi g\u00f6r kan underl\u00e4tta f\u00f6r oss att mer aktivt kunna v\u00e4lja beteende i olika situationer och d\u00e4rigenom agera, i st\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att reagera p\u00e5 det s\u00e4tt vi alltid gjort.<br><br>M\u00e4nniskan motiveras av tv\u00e5 saker: att r\u00f6ra sig ifr\u00e5n s\u00e5dant vi inte vill ha och r\u00f6ra oss mot s\u00e5dant vi vill ha. Det h\u00e4r k\u00e4nns ju logiskt, eller hur? N\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller saker som ligger utanf\u00f6r oss sj\u00e4lva kan detta funka ganska bra \u2013 vi flyttar oss n\u00e4r en bil n\u00e4rmar sig eller om vi blir jagade av en bj\u00f6rn. Men n\u00e4r vi f\u00f6rs\u00f6ker undvika upplevelser inom oss sj\u00e4lva fungerar det tyv\u00e4rr inte lika bra. F\u00f6r n\u00e4r vi n\u00e4rmar oss s\u00e5dant som \u00e4r viktigt f\u00f6r oss s\u00e5 kommer vi att uppleva olika grader av obehag, vi kan till exempel k\u00e4nna oss s\u00e5rbara n\u00e4r vi inleder en k\u00e4rleksrelation, s\u00f6ker ett nytt jobb eller anm\u00e4ler oss till Vasaloppet. T\u00e4nk om vi inte klarar det? Om vi b\u00f6rjar undvika obehagliga k\u00e4nslor och tankar kan det allts\u00e5 hindra oss fr\u00e5n att g\u00f6ra s\u00e5dant vi faktiskt vill.<br><br>Att f\u00e5 koll p\u00e5 hur man brukar reagera vid obehag kan hj\u00e4lpa till att skapa en medvetenhet som m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r andra och mer hj\u00e4lpsamma val. Deltagarna fick g\u00f6ra egna analyser p\u00e5 beteenden fr\u00e5n situationer som inte riktigt blir som de \u00f6nskat. N\u00e4r man tr\u00e4nat p\u00e5 detta blir det l\u00e4ttare att uppt\u00e4cka om det man g\u00f6r faktiskt f\u00f6r en n\u00e4rmre eller l\u00e4ngre ifr\u00e5n s\u00e5dant man egentligen vill.<br><br>Reflektioner fr\u00e5n deltagarna var bland annat att man \u00f6nskade att man f\u00e5tt ta del av denna kunskap tidigare i livet, att det g\u00f6r det l\u00e4ttare att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 sig p\u00e5 sig sj\u00e4lv och andra, och man f\u00e5tt m\u00f6jlighet att tydligg\u00f6ra m\u00f6nster och d\u00e4rigenom kunna v\u00e4lja \u2013 och v\u00e4lja bort.<br><br>Mindfulness har varit lite av en fluga som p\u00e5 senare tid kanske k\u00e4nts lite uttjatat. Men begreppet missf\u00f6rst\u00e5s ofta och n\u00e4r man t\u00e4nker p\u00e5 mindfulness f\u00f6rest\u00e4ller man sig g\u00e4rna en vitkl\u00e4dd person som sitter och mediterar p\u00e5 en klippa vid havet i<br>str\u00e5lande sol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och visst kan mindfulness vara precis det. Men mindfulness inneb\u00e4r egentligen bara att vara n\u00e4rvarande i den verklighet man befinner sig i just nu, och att man flexibelt kan f\u00f6rflytta sin uppm\u00e4rksamhet mellan olika upplevelser av sagda verklighet. F\u00f6r att demonstrera detta fick deltagarna g\u00f6ra \u00f6vningen stenen i skon. Den g\u00e5r till precis som det l\u00e5ter och du kan testa g\u00f6ra den p\u00e5 egen hand: Stoppa en sten i din sko och b\u00f6rja g\u00e5 runt med fokus p\u00e5 just stenen du har i din sko. Hur k\u00e4nns det n\u00e4r du g\u00f6r det? N\u00e4r du gjort detta ett tag kan du lyfta fokus och b\u00f6rja ta in allt annat som finns i din direkta verklighet just nu: vad ser du? Vad h\u00f6r du? N\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller just en sten i skon kan vi lyckligtvis bara plocka ut den och sedan slippa obehaget.
